Enrollment Eligibility

You are only a few steps away from becoming a member of Southwest Research Center Federal Credit Union!  We are a full-service, not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and operated by its members.  Our easy-to-use online application can be completed in just a few minutes.  Once completed, you can be assured that we will protect your information using the most advanced commercially available security technologies.  If you have specific questions about this online process, please contact us at 210.684.1054 or 1.877.442.5657.

To get started, here's what you will need:

  • Social Security Number
  • Valid U.S. driver's license or government-issued ID
  • Permanent address
  • Telephone numbers

Please note: All requests are reviewed for approval.  Completing an online membership application request does not guarantee you will be approved for membership.  If approved, all account documents and disclosure information will be mailed to the address provided in the membership application and accounts will not be opened until all required documents are received and minimum funds are deposited to fund the account.

Members and joint owners must be at least 13 years of age to apply for any checking account.  If you would like to open an account for a minor (under 12), the online membership application must be completed by a parent or guardian over age 18 and the account will be opened as a custodial account.

To help our government fight the funding of terrorism and to stop money-laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions, including SwRCFCU, to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.  Please refer to membership disclosure for more information.
